The Salus PS600 Smart Pipe Temperature Control Sensor lets you remotely control flow and return temperature and the temperature on your heating system, as well as pipes, hot water tanks and floors, more effectively. Together with the supplied clamps, the temperature of the pipe can be easily measured and read via the simple to use Salus Smart Home app for your smartphone, PC or tablet.

Could do with more clip optionsReviewed by Benmorris on 05 Feb 2024

As far as the electronics go, this works perfectly. It connected easily to my Zigbee bridge, despite the distance. I'm using Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant, and it immediately showed up as a temperature sensor with no manual configuration needed. However, the clip is for 15mm pipes, even though the CH pipe coming straight out of a boiler is typically 22mm or larger. Rather foolishly, I tried to reshape the clip. This is not possible; it snapped quite easily. I've now attached it to the 22mm pipe using a jubilee clip, although zip ties would probably work too. For the price, Salus could consider including a 22mm and 28mm clip in addition to the pre-fitted 15mm.

As the title says, it was a bit of a pain finding the right one of the various ways to address the thermometer to be able to use it to change the state of a pair of switches conditionally based upon time and temperature.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Only works if you have a Salus Hub but if you do the device connects easily and provides real time temperature data via the app.

FREE Shipping

We offer FREE 2-3 working day delivery on all orders over £99 received before 4pm. All orders placed under £99 are charged at £4.95 (£4.13 ExVAT).

For Portable Power please allow up to 4 working days for delivery and Solar Panels are shipped via our pallet delivery service which is a £100.

Next Day Delivery

We also offer Next Working Day Delivery on all orders received before 2pm. Once again, all orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and at the weekend will be processed on Monday and then sent out for Next Working Day Delivery.

Northern Ireland, Highlands & Channel Islands
