Does the job well although it’s fitment with the thermostat is a bit fiddly and tight. Luckily you can just bung the cable instead of your not confident making it seat without force.
I struggled to find a basic level thermostat for my IR heating panels. I didn't want programs or wifi or Alexa or anything. This one is working great. Running 1300 watts of FIR panels in a 20 sq metre living area. Fast response, good display, easy install. And the frost protection feature is great, i have it set to 12 degrees so just tap the button every night.
If you have a full back box, may struggle with the depth of the switch. If you have space, worth using a 47mm box.
Good product. Works with Home Assistant, although some actions don't seem to register reliably.
Good basic RF stat .
I have a 230v connection with 4 wires - live, load, neutral and earth. It was straight forward to install and it worked straight away apart from having to re-pair the wireless connection as it didn't connect out of the box. Intuitive to program and the instructions are easy to follow.
This is a great value kit when compared with buying the items separately.
Simple product easy to install. Bought to replace a more complex programmable room thermostat that had features we never used, that also had a sticky relay. This product has the features we use and no more. My only gripe would be the little stand attachment for table top use isn't at the right angle WRT the centre of gravity of the thermostat so it tends to fall flat on its face.
The white fitting is a tiny bit too small so will not screw onto a regular radiator valve.

As far as the electronics go, this works perfectly. It connected easily to my Zigbee bridge, despite the distance. I'm using Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant, and it immediately showed up as a temperature sensor with no manual configuration needed. However, the clip is for 15mm pipes, even though the CH pipe coming straight out of a boiler is typically 22mm or larger. Rather foolishly, I tried to reshape the clip. This is not possible; it snapped quite easily. I've now attached it to the 22mm pipe using a jubilee clip, although zip ties would probably work too. For the price, Salus could consider including a 22mm and 28mm clip in addition to the pre-fitted 15mm.
No great surprise with the digistat which was a replacement but the speed of delivery was outstanding.
Just what was required. Easy install and pairing. Took 5 minutes.
Ordered in afternoon . Arrived next morning. Easy to swap with old model and up and running within minutes. Perfect.

Prompt service and dispatch although DPD did muck it up, said they tried to deliver, wife was in all day, then said they had left it at our local post office but had actually left it at a post office some 5 miles away.
Thermostat and receiver replaced an older controller with no thermostatic control, so couldn't control room temperature. Easy to install and product works flawlessly, so I can now leave the property knowing the heating will kick in to maintain a background heat when I'm not there. Salus products have never let me down.
I've used several of these Salus thermostats for 2 years and am pretty happy with them - just needed one more.
Installed on a totally off-grid two bedroom static caravan one week ago. Linked up to a solar source and still running after the initial charge prior to installation.
Not connected up to my camper system yet ! But will be in the near future. Fast delivery . Charged up well and Bluetooth kicks in on its first charge
