The Salus RM16A Smart Home Hardwired Control Relay is used to enable and/or disable your heating system electrical devices. It can be used for a range of purposes such as to control a heating device, control a solid-fuel boiler, connect a receiver that requires more power than the thermostat relay permits or to relieve your wiring centre's relay when more actuators are connected than permitted.

Can be mounted in a flush-mounting box, or where there is a need to control a receiver with a maximum load of 16 Amps.

The item is exactly what I needed, I know I ordered it but what I am really pleased about was the types of delivery choices and as I had urgency in the last 2no orders I went for next day and both was delivered as promised.

The relay was purchased to operate my boiler using the zone valve switches as a control source. The zone valves have failed with welded contacts on a number of occasions so the relay will hopefully be more robust and better able to handle the load of the boiler. The wiring was straight forward and followed the supplied example of diagram number 4. The resultant operation of the boiler has so far performed as expected. If the relay proves reliable over time then I will be very satisfied with the relay.

What are my Shipping & Delivery Options?

We offer various shipping options. In some cases a third-party supplier may be managing our inventory and will be responsible for shipping your products.

FREE Shipping

We offer FREE 2-3 working day delivery on all orders over £99 received before 4pm. All orders placed under £99 are charged at £4.95 (£4.13 ExVAT).

For Portable Power please allow up to 4 working days for delivery and Solar Panels are shipped via our pallet delivery service which is a £100.

Next Day Delivery

We also offer Next Working Day Delivery on all orders received before 2pm. Once again, all orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and at the weekend will be processed on Monday and then sent out for Next Working Day Delivery.

Northern Ireland, Highlands & Channel Islands 

Please contact us for our shipping rates to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Channel Islands.

Please note; we can't currently ship portable power items to Northern Ireland due to insurance issues with the courier.

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange.
