It includes an LCD display and a selection of added operational and efficiency functions, including 4 energy saving features that make your system Boiler Plus compliant. Having recently got our smart meters working properly and showing us how much gas,and electricity we were using, our next step was to update the room thermostat. Being familiar with the Salus smart wi fi thermostat in our holiday caravan I opted for the Salus RT520 to replace our ageing Sunvic digital wired room thermostat following advice on line. It took some time to understand how to set up the thermostat and I would recommend anyone purchasing this device to read the instructions a few times as once you start,l the programming process moves quite quickly. I resorted to writing down what I had to do after reading the instructions a few times and understanding what I had to do. It did take a few times to get it right but I like a challenge. The outcome is very satisfying in that I ended up with an automatic central heating thermostat with programmed settings that gives me the temperatures I want to achieve at different times of the day and night rather than simply turning it on and off at different times of the day. Now I simply programme the heating to come on most of the day and night but regulate it by setting different temperatures for different times of the day/night. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Fitting and setting up was simplicity itself and there was an immediate response from the central heating system. The temperature was held accurately at the programmed limits and a quick check of the meter showed that it was more economical. The package information is basic and a download of the full manual is essential to get the best from the unit

Hi, what is the difference between this and the IT500? Other than price on your website? We need a replacement IT500 touchscreen thermostat as our old one has broken. Which do we need? We have all the other bits.
The main difference is that the IT500BM is for combination boilers and single heating zones only. Otherwise, they are very similar products and can both be smart-phone operated.
Hi is this compatible with Baxi duo tec 28 boiler
Salus thermostats are compatible with all boilers
Does this need the Tydor hub or can it work directly with just the app?
yes, it needs the TYDOM hub to be controlled via the TYDOM app

However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange; please see below for more information on our returns policy.

RETURNS

If you find you have received the wrong or damaged item(s), you need to contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods. Any time after this you are responsible for returning the goods at your own cost following the standard returns process.

All returns must be postmarked and in writing within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in a new, unopened and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

We ask that all customers when returning products send the goods via a trackable courier service. Underfloor Wizard Ltd t/a ECO Wizard will not be held responsible for goods which do not arrive at our premises.

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges, unless in the instance of damaged/faulty goods received in which case we can issue you with a returns label to cover the cost of postage.

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

Faults on installed products: 

If a product that has been installed develops a fault, please contact us, do not uninstall the product yourself. We will arrange for an engineer or technical support from the brand to assist with diagnosing the fault. Once the fault has been confirmed we can then arrange for the necessary next steps to occur.


EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • opened box, damaged, missing or incomplete items cannot be returned.
  • items that have been installed.
