is the rt510 advertised the same as the rt510tx . ?
thx chris
The RT510TX is wireless and needs the RT51RF receiver to work with it. The RT510 is wired.
Hi, what is the difference between this and the IT500? Other than price on your website? We need a replacement IT500 touchscreen thermostat as our old one has broken. Which do we need? We have all the other bits.
The main difference is that the IT500BM is for combination boilers and single heating zones only. Otherwise, they are very similar products and can both be smart-phone operated.
Hi, are all your remote room thermostats compatible with Sime Ecomfort combi gas boilers please?
Thank you
Steve Greenhough
We have checked this with Salus for you, and they confirmed that all of their hard-wired boiler receivers are universal and will work with any boiler, so yes, all fine.
Is this stat lockable so the children cannot use the up and down buttons to alter the set point temp
thanks Rob
Unfortunately, the RT510 does not have that capacity, but the RT520 does. Other smart ones do too, please check on Salu’s website for more information.
is the programable stat RT510 hardwired 230volts and screen lockable
many thanks
Rob
The RT510 is hard wired and 230 volts, but the screen is not lockable.
Hi is this compatible with Baxi duo tec 28 boiler
Salus thermostats are compatible with all boilers
Does this need the Tydor hub or can it work directly with just the app?
yes, it needs the TYDOM hub to be controlled via the TYDOM app
More existing status thermostat seems to have failed. New batteries do not show anything on the screen. I have pressed the research button but this makes no difference. Can you suggest how to repair it or if I buy a new room unit will it automatically connects to my boiler? 0044 7727242116
Your best solution would be to contact Salus technical on techsupport@saluscontrols.com as they should be able to talk you through any repairs, albeit via email. If they recommend replacing the product or purchasing a new one, we would be happy to help.
Will this work with a rt510lg5v+
I have just spoken to you on the phone. But the item you stated was the wrong one
The RT510 plus is a wired thermostat, so would not work with a wireless receiver
The RXRT510 RF is wireless thermostat which would work.
If you are unsure, I would suggest raising a ticket with techsupport@saluscontrols.com and they will confirm the best option for you.
Is this compatible with an 8yr old
Eco tech plus combi boiler? Our current control is not working but is a RT510TX so can I purchase this for the boiler?
There are a couple of different part numbers mixed in there, so let me try to give you some options to answer them.
RT510+ is the hard wired, room stat and is not part of a wireless system. A cable back to the boiler
RT510TX is wireless thermostat only - Suitable for pairing with an existing and compatible receiver.
If their current stat is definitely the RT510TX, then that is the part number they should buy and it should pair with whatever receiver their old RT510TX paired with.’
If you have any further questions, please let us know, or reach out to techsupport@saluscontrols.com directly
Hi. I currently have a Delta Dore Thermostat but it appears to be totally dead. I’ve changed the batteries but it refuses to come back to life. Is there anything I can do to fix it or should I just buy a replacement?
Many thanks

I would recommend reaching out to Malcom at Delta Dore on the below details and see whether he can provide any support before then buying a new one if necessary

Yes, a tethered charger comes with a cable that you can plug directly into the car.
