The Photonic Universe 3kW Zero-Transfer Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) System with 4.8kWh energy storage is a high-performance backup power solution designed for homes, offices, IT suites, data centres and commercial facilities. Providing a reliable source of AC electricity, it is ideal for running computers, servers, household appliances, and sensitive electronic equipment where uninterrupted power is essential.

Unlike standard UPS systems, this model features special Zero Transfer Technology, ensuring an instantaneous switch from mains supply to battery power with no delay at all. This makes it particularly well-suited for sensitive devices such as servers, data centre equipment and IT hardware that require a stable and continuous energy supply without risk of interruption.

In a mains-powered setup, the UPS provides uninterrupted electricity to connected appliances. While the mains is available, it powers your equipment directly and keeps the batteries charged. If the mains supply becomes unstable or cuts out, the UPS instantly switches to its internal battery bank, ensuring seamless continuity. Once power is restored, it automatically reverts back to mains input.

The system integrates easily with generators in off-grid environments. By running the generator only at optimum intervals to recharge the batteries, you can achieve significant fuel savings while maintaining uninterrupted AC power. The UPS can also be used as a portable energy system: charge the batteries from the grid, then transport the unit to an off-grid location to provide temporary or mobile power on demand.

With built-in solar compatibility, this UPS allows you to connect a suitable solar array directly without the need for extra charge control equipment. This makes it a cost-effective way to reduce electricity bills in grid-tied systems and cut generator runtime in off-grid setups.

Supplied with a 4.8kWh external battery bank, the system provides reliable storage capacity and can be easily expanded or replaced as required. For larger applications, up to nine inverters can be connected in parallel to deliver as much as 27kW of continuous power (parallel kits required per inverter). This scalability makes it a future-proof investment for both residential and commercial users.
